This variety, originally from Japan, is distinguished by it’s large leaves and its vigour, when planted in deep soil in a relatively humid environment. The bunches of grapes are small. Much used to provide shade in vine arbours.

Possesses small bunches of pretty rose coloured grapes with a subtle Muscat flavouring.

This variety of average sized bunches of round grapes is appreciated for its sweet and juicy flesh which melts in your mouth.

Variety of medium vigor but very fertile.

It resists well to mildew and powdery mildew but is a little sensitive to gray rot.

Clusters and berries are of medium size.

Harvest between mid and end of September (in the south-west)

Villard noir makes it possible to produce colored wines of decent quality.

 Grape variety present in the so-called Côtes du Rhône wines. Syrah allows to obtain red wines suitable for aging and of very high quality. These wines are generally intense in colour (bluish), very aromatic, tannic, robust and relatively acid. 

The elongated bunches carry large oval or round grapes whose firm and juicy flesh has a fresh, sweet mushy flavour.

Vigorous variety that is quite fertile but matures late (end of September in the south-west).

It resists well to downy mildew and gray rot but is a little sensitive to powdery mildew.

Clusters and berries are medium to large in size.

Villard blanc makes it possible to produce a wine of ordinary quality.
