The average sized bunches carry large oval shaped grapes of a golden yellow colour turning rosy in the sun and with maturity. The skin is thin and the flesh melts in your mouth and is juicy.

The grapes are savoury tasting, aromatic, beautifully formed, golden and mature early. This truly new variety was created by the National Institute of Agronomic Research, in France (INRA). In addition to the flavour of the grapes this variety is

 Grape variety present in the so-called Côtes du Rhône wines. Syrah allows to obtain red wines suitable for aging and of very high quality. These wines are generally intense in colour (bluish), very aromatic, tannic, robust and relatively acid.
